What is Rigid Core Vinyl Plank Flooring?
Vinyl flooring is your perfect solution to having the look of real hardwood floors without the cost of upkeep and maintenance. Rigid Core Vinyl is made of synthetic materials. It has an SPC core, with a calcium carbonate bottom layer and coated with PVC and a plasticizer. This material is then printed, embossed, and coated with a 12 mil abrasion resistant wear layer. This no-wax surface wear layer offers optimal stain resistance. It is layered with urethane ensuring it is more durable against everyday scratches and scuffs. everhome’s Rigid Core Vinyl Plank Flooring is also completely waterproof.
Installation
Rigid Core Vinyl Plank Flooring is easy to install with our simple click installation. Keep in mind when installing your vinyl flooring that it should be placed on a solid, flat surface. Further, it is recommended that you purchase extra materials to compensate for waste during the install process. Before you install, ensure that the subfloor area is levelled, clean and free of debris. Due to seasonal temperature shifts, there will be a natural contraction of the planks, so ensure you leave an expansion gap around the perimeter of the room to compensate. The flooring should also be mixed and matched from different boxes to reduce shade repetition during install.
