The only hard part was cutting around the kitchen island, but even that wasn't too bad.

The planks themselves have a textured finish on them so they look like real wood but without any of the maintenance that comes along with it (like staining every year). They're also very durable and easy to clean! My husband accidentally spilled coffee on one of them earlier today and it cleaned right up with just some soap and water!
